Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Midland County, Texas. You will be based on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
