Tile mason — Doma

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in Doma, Nasarawa State. Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims Full-time with occasional weekends.
