Automotive paint technician — Jefferson Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a busy body shop. On a typical shift you will mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
