Immediate opening: auto mechanic (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto mechanic in Emmet County, Iowa. The job is at a tyre and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Recharge and service the air-conditioning system • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Confident using diagnostic scan tools 4+ years on the tools preferred.
