Head baker wanted in Lycoming County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $190 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
