Urgent requirement: conventional mill operator (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in St. Clair County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
