Beldar — Barnsley

Great opportunity: we are hiring a beldar in Barnsley, England. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £3,050 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
