Sample machinist — Hickman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Hickman County, Tennessee. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Performance bonus on top of base pay.
