Join our team: we are hiring a single needle operator in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
