Turning centre operator — Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Lake County, California. The job is in a tool room. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret Performance bonus on top of base pay.
