Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolder in Clermont County, Ohio. The job is at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage You should have: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Full-time, day shift.
