Production welder — Greene County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Greene County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
