Mining dozer operator wanted in Knox County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Knox County, Tennessee. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
