CO2 welder wanted in Pendleton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Pendleton County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy production line. Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred.
