Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Lynn County, Texas. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
