Now hiring: we are hiring a deboner in Franklin County, Kentucky. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • 2+ years experience working as a butcher At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
