Concrete finisher • Monroe County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Monroe County, Ohio. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Full-time with occasional weekends.
