Tailor machinist — Trumbull County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Trumbull County, Ohio. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
