In-process quality controller — Wayne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Wayne County, New York. You will be based at a food processing unit. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Day to day you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
