Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Taylor County, Kentucky. You will work on a residential tower site. You will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
