Power press operator — Kent

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Kent, England. You will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; record output and downtime on the production sheet; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Full-time with occasional weekends.
