Finishing presser — Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Pike County, Illinois. You will work at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment You will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
