Dogger — County Durham

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in County Durham, England. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
