Urgent requirement: pressman (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in North Northamptonshire, England. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
