Fabricator-welder — De Baca County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in De Baca County, New Mexico. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
