Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Rock County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork.
