Power press operator — Rutherford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Rutherford County, Tennessee. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
