Now hiring: concrete worker (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Richland County, Ohio. Day to day you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 1+ years on the tools preferred.
