Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Schuyler County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
