Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Queens County, New York. The job is at an infrastructure site. You will mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
