Shuttering carpenter wanted in Boone County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Boone County, Illinois. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
