Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Curry County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Six days a week, one day off.
