Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Meals and transport allowance provided.
