360 excavator operator — Mason County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Mason County, Washington. You will be based on a housing development site. On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
