Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Pitt County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
