Urgent requirement: excavator operator (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Douglas County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Day-to-day duties: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations 1+ years on the tools preferred.
