HSE officer — Tift County

Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in Tift County, Georgia. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
