Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Cleburne County, Alabama. You will work at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
