Crawler crane operator wanted in Covington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Covington County, Alabama. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work Part-time with flexible hours.
