Crane rigger • Crawford County, Ohio

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Crawford County, Ohio. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Day to day you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals 4+ years on the tools preferred.
