Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Santa Clara County, California. Day to day you will hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; insulate and ventilate the roof void; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
