Vacancy available: heavy equipment operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Montgomery County, Georgia. You will work in an open-cast mine. Day to day you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; check for underground cables and services before digging. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
