You should have: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls The role involves: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets Six days a week, one day off. ₦265,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
