Press machine operator — Missoula County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Missoula County, Montana. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
