Now hiring: insulation installer (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation installer in McCulloch County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Day-to-day duties: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
