Construction labourer — Okeechobee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a construction labourer in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Day-to-day duties: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $120 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
