We are recruiting: we are hiring a laundry presser in Macon County, Tennessee. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day-to-day duties: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
