We are recruiting: stainless steel welder (Florida)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Duval County, Florida. You will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Six days a week, one day off. We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
