Bakery assistant — Taos County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Taos County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
