Cake decorator — DuPage County

Join our team: we are hiring a cake decorator in DuPage County, Illinois. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
